If I get started with a wholesale membership, am I obligated to sell anything? Is there a minimum amount that I need to spend each month?

NO! You are not obligated to sell anything, nor are you required to join Young Living's Essential Rewards autoship program.

However, there are two things to mention:

1) we do have a training method that we will walk you through to help you get a rebate on the cost of your initial investment in the first month. Someone shared the power of essential oils with you, why wouldn't you share that blessing with those you know? After you get your rebate, if you decide that personal use is the only way you want to use your essential oils, no one is going to pressure you to do more.
2) if you decide to join the autoship program (Essential Rewards) you will benefit in many ways, including earning points allowing you to get free Young Living items and essential oils, as well as some of the financial incentives that you cannot get in other ways. We provide training on this program down the line as well.

Why does it matter who I sign up with? Aren't all members of Young Living the same?

In this case, it doesn't really matter whether you sign up with Crystal or with Melissa. Both are super-nice ladies and excellent leaders who will give you the best possible support in your essential oil journey. Ideally, you'll sign up with the person who has been most helpful in your essential oil journey thus far.

However, it is important to understand that signing up as a wholesale member with Young Living - or any network marketing/multi-level marketing company, really - is not like heading to one or the other check-out line at the local box store. At the local store, going to check-out aisle 4 should get you about the same level of courtesy, regardless of who is working that register. In Young Living, you'll get the same level of courtesy, but the person with whom you sign up is the person who will support and help you in your essential oil use.

What kind of support would I receive if I joined Melissa or Crystal?

To a certain extent, the amount of support that you receive will depend on you. If you are active in the FaceBook forums and groups, reach out to your sponsor (the person who signed you up), and try to get to local and online classes to learn more about how to use your oils, you'll go a long way pretty quickly. However, if you are quiet about your use of essential oils, and do not make time to attend classes, then we will give you what support we're able, but there is only so much we can do without your participation and cooperation.
